Herewith, we invite you to attend the 19th International Symposium on Plasma Chemistry (ISPC), which will be held in Bochum, Germany, during July 26 - 31, 2009.
ISPC is a bi-annual international conference with topics encompassing the whole area of plasma chemistry and plasma processing science. The aim of the Symposium is to present the recent progress in plasma chemistry and its applications. Contributions are solicited in basic and applied areas. Prior to the Symposium the European Summer School on low pressure and thermal plasmas will be held. The official language of the School and the Symposium is English.
The invited plenary speakers will be:
David Graves (University of Berkeley, USA),
Jean-Michel Pouvesle (Gremi, France),
Armelle Vardelle (Univ. Limoges, France)
Joachim Heberlein (University of Minnesota, USA),
Kunihide Tachibana (University of Kyoto, Japan),
Klaus-Dieter Weltmann (INP, Germany).
In addition, 22 topical invited speakers have been invited covering a very broad range of topics. Embedded in the scientific program two special sessions will be arranged, namely "Plasma-enhanced ALD" and "Plasma Simulation: Nuts and Bolts" to highlight emerging and controversial fields. The conference will close with an industrial workshop on biomedical applications.
