Dear All

The Virtual Colloquium is now in its week 4 and the papers currently discussed are paper 9, 10 and 11. Please take a look! All the papers so far have generated interesting Q&As sessions and hundreds of reads. Now, we need your help and we urge you to take part in the sessions. As stated in the event abstract ... "we wish to reflect upon IYC projects in a way that allows us to learn from and sustain these initiatives into the future. This special preconference virtual colloquium will allow global participants to share their experiences in, or learn of these projects, and discuss them in an online environment".

For next week, the plan was to have a collection of reviews of national initiatives, but we have had very few responses and only India, Puerto Rico, Israel and Slovakia have take on the invitation. We urge you to reach out and step in in order to share your IYC experience and to nurture some good discussions. If you have a report, or know of a short paper readily available, please send it to Mustafa at sozbilir@atauni.edu.tr and Robert Belford at rebelford@ualr.edu . Most importantly, we want to ensure that you and your colleagues take part in the discussion and embrace the opportunity that the VC offers to share views.

Than, and for the last week and starting on June 22, we count on your engagement to support the chair's review/wrap-up paper. Mei-Hung Chiu abstract is available at http://www.ccce.divched.org/spring2012confchemp12To participate in any discussion, you just need to join the ConfChem list https://lists.ualr.edu/scripts/wa?SUBED1=CONFCHEM&A=1

Best wishes, and thanks in advance for your participation.

Sincerely,

Fabienne
