2014年「周大紓紀念研討會」於3月14日(五)假中央研究院化學所舉辦 歡迎與會
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we cordially invite you to The Ta-Shue Chou Lectureship Award (2014), which will be held at Institute of Chemistry, Academia Sinica on March 14, 2014.
The Ta-Shue Chou lectureship Award is held since 2000 in memory of Dr. Ta-Shue Chou for his dedicated lifetime service and intellectual contributions to the Scientific Community in Taiwan during his term as Director of Institute of Chemistry. The annual lectureship was created to bring distinguished and internationally renowned scientists to Academia Sinica for the purpose of stimulating broad interest in the chemical science.
In this year, the theme of the symposium will highlight on “Organic Synthesis on Catalysis and Advanced Materials.” Four lecturing sessions will cover a broad but significant range of contemporary topics in organic synthesis, including catalysis, innovative synthetic strategies and molecular driven material applications. Invited speakers include:
• Professor Gregory C. Fu, California Institute of Technology, USA
(2014 distinguished the lectureship award recipient)
• Dr. Tahsin J. Chow, Academia Sinica
• Professor Chin-Fa Lee, National Chung Hsing University
• Professor Wenwei Lin, National Taiwan Normal Univeristy
