Special Issue for Prof. Ho-Hsiang Wei

Dear Colleagues.

Professor Ho-Hsiang Wei will turn 70 in June, 2010. As most of you know, Professor Wei has spent more than forty years to teach in TKU and contributed a lot to the Department of Chemistry as well as to the community.

In recognition of his contributions, the Journal of the Chinese Chemical Society will dedicate a special issue to honor Professor Wei's impact on chemistry in Taiwan. This special issue is intended as a tribute to Professor Wei as a scholar, scientist, educator, and as an academic administrator. The science of this special issue will cover most relevant scientific areas that Professor Wei has contributed over the 40 years of his illustrious career, on both inorganic chemistry and biorganic chemistry.

We are hoping that you would submit some of your recent research results to be published as part of this special issue. Contributions are preferably relevant to the fields of interest to Professor Wei. If your response is positive, please mark Ö in the square blank printed below and kindly reply at your earliest convenience. The deadline of submission is scheduled on December 31, 2009.
