CALL FOR PAPERS-Special Issue In Memory of Prof. Yung-Son Hon
Dear Colleagues:
Recently, we are deeply saddened by learning the death of Professor Yung-Son Hon (1955.3.15 – 2011.6.16), a devoted husband and father, beloved colleague, dedicated mentor, and dear friend to many. His dedication to teaching is exceptional, and his contributions to the fields of organic reactions and organic synthesis are monumental. His passing is a tragic loss and he will remain in our hearts and serve as an inspiration in our pursuit to advance the chemistry research. We extend our heartfelt sympathy and condolences to Professor Hon’s family and friends.
In light of the above, we plan to organize a special issue in the Journal of the Chinese Chemical Society (March issue, 2012) dedicated to the memory of Prof. Hon. We are pleased to invite you to join this commemorative occasion. If you are interested in participating, please mark Ö in the square blank printed below and kindly reply at your earliest convenience. The work which is closely related to Prof. Hon’s research interests is most welcome; however, other chemistry related fields are welcome as well. The deadline for submission is scheduled for October 31, 2011.
