IMCT2010(International Membrane Conference in Taiwan 2010 - Membrane Technology for Energy Conservation and Carbon Capture )
The membrane science and its technological development, in the past few decades, as increasingly emerged and plays an important role in many aspects of modern engineering of chemistry, energy, environmental conservation, bioengineering, medicine, foods, and electronics. To provide a forum for experts from academia and industry interested in membrane science and technology, the Annual Conference on Membrane Science and Technology has been held in Chungli, Taiwan since year 2001. In each conference, 7~9 renowned researchers were invited to share their researches and experiences. More than 50 contributed papers were presented in posters.
This year, the International Membrane Conference in Taiwan 2010 (2010 IMCT) and the 10th Conference on Membrane Science & Technology (10th CMST) will be joint with a special event Advances in Membrane Technology for Energy Conservation and Carbon Capture Forum and be held on May 28, 2010 at Chung Yuan University. The conference offers a one-day lectures and poster presentation session. Topics of interests in the field of membrane science and technology include but are not limited to:
- New membrane materials and membrane surface modifications
- Membrane preparation and formation mechanism
- Transport phenomenon across membranes
- Novel applications of polymeric membranes
