The Sixth Asia-Pacific Congress on Catalysis (APCAT-6) will be held in Taipei, Taiwan in October 13-17, 2013. The Asia-Pacific Congress on Catalysis (APCAT), which was initiated in Kyongju (Korea, 1997), followed by the unprecedented successes in Sydney (Australia, 2000), Dalian (China, 2003), Singapore (Singapore, 2006), and Sapporo (Japan, 2010), has been serving as one of the most important platforms for academics, researchers, and industrialists, particularly in Asia-Pacific region, to interact, exchange ideas and build collaborations. This triennial event has been successful in bringing the participants up to date with the latest technological trends and in motivating students and young scientists working on future catalysis and related areas.
APCAT-6 aims to provide a high-profile and internationally renowned forum for researches in catalysis and technology. The themes of the conference focus on “New Era of Catalysis: Efficiency, Value, and Sustainability”. Various important topics such as Bio-Catalysis, Biomass Conversion, Environmental, New Energy, Catalysis for Fine Chemical Synthesis, Photo-Catalysis, Industrial Catalysis & Processing, Membrane & Separation, Catalyst Preparation and Characterization, and Theory & Modelling etc. will be covered in the conference.
