Starting in 1976, the Association has held POWTEX biennially in Tokyo. The show is regarded both nationally and internationally as a comprehensive exhibition featuring the latest information on powder technology, with a focus on powder processing equipment. The first POWTEX OSAKA was successfully held in 1993. Since then, the Association has presented the show annually, alternating between Osaka and Tokyo. The show has grown to the extent that POWTEX OSAKA 2005 had approximately 201 exhibiting companies and organizations occupying about 560 booths, and POWTEX TOKYO 2006 had 275 exhibiting companies and organizations occupying about 894 booths. POWTEX NAGOYA is also held from 2006 periodically.Held in conjunction with the POWTEX exhibition is the Powder Technology Conference. This conference features several sessions covering cutting-edge topics in powder technology, with speakers and panelists invited from industrial, academic and governmental sectors. The conference has attracted several hundred participants on each occasion.
