XIVth International Meeting on Boron Chemistry
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I am pleased to invite you to join us in Niagara Falls, Canada for the IME Boron XIV Conference. The meeting will be held September 11-15, 2011 and promises to continue the tradition of inspiring collaboration and discussion expected of the IME Boron meetings.
September in Niagara Falls is a particularly beautiful time of year. The summer heat has passed and the fall colours of Southern Ontario will provide the perfect landscape for this scientific meeting. The location is a world-class destination abound with unmatched scenery, award winning cuisine and innumerable entertainment options.
The venue for the meeting will be the new Niagara Falls Convention and Civic Centre, a mere 500 metres from the Canadian Horseshoe Falls. The conference hotel is the Marriott Gateway on the Falls, which is directly across from the Centre and offers both falls and city-view rooms. There are thousands of hotel rooms in the proximity of the Centre to suit every taste and budget.
Also within a short drive is the quaint city of Niagara-on-the-Lake, full of unique shops, gourmet dining and award-winning wineries. The Falls also offers numerous tours and adventures as well as casinos, shows and a lively tourist district.
We look forward to welcoming you to Canada in September 2011. The registration and abstract submission process will begin February 1, 2011. As we assemble an inspiring scientific program for the meeting, we anticipate that you will also enjoy all of the adventures that Niagara Falls can offer
