The ACS Green Chemistry Institute® invites submissions for 2023 green chemistry awards for graduate students and postdocs, as well as 2023 ACS Summer School program. Deadlines begin Saturday, December 31, 2022, 5 p.m. ET (GMT-4).
The Heh-Won Chang PhD Fellowship in Green Chemistry provides financial support to full-time graduate students conducting research in green chemistry. Students must present their research at the Green Chemistry & Engineering Conference, June 13-15, 2023, in Long Beach, CA. Funds may be used for any purpose, including conference travel, professional development and living expenses, while the recipient is in graduate school. All full-time graduate students across the globe who are currently conducting research in green chemistry and have at least one full year of study remaining in their graduate program are eligible.

The Nina McClelland Memorial Award is open to postdoctoral chemists who are engaged in green chemistry research. Two $2,000 awards will be provided each year and awardees must present their research during the Green Chemistry & Engineering Conference, June 13-15, 2023, in Long Beach, CA.

The ACS Summer School on Green Chemistry & Sustainable Energy is a week-long once-in-a-lifetime experience! Each year about 60 graduate students and postdoctoral scholars from the Americas are selected from the applicants to gather in Golden, Colorado at the Colorado School of Mines. Students will spend a week attending lectures from professors and industry scientists on sustainable chemistry topics, hold discussions, participate in a poster presentation, and network with each other. All eligible travel and program costs are covered.

Register for IUPAC 15th Green Chemistry Postgraduate Summer School in Venice, Italy from July 2-7, 2023. During five days of lectures, attendees will learn about state-of-the-art research in green chemistry and background chemical science material to further their careers. Attendees will be able to present their research in a poster session.
