Greeting!
On behalf of the Organizing and Scientific Committee of the 24th ICOMC 2010, I would like to announce the 24th International Conference on Organometallic Chemistry will be hosted from July 18 to 23, 2010, at Taipei International Convention Center in Taiwan.
ICOMC is a very important chemistry Conference which launched in 1963 and is now held every other year. It is out great honored to accept this appointment to take charge of the Conference, which is authorized by the International Advisory Board of ICOMC. And we are expecting over 800 participants from Asian area and all over the world joining us.
24th ICOMC 2010 will provide a forum for in-depth assessment of the challenges involved in the dynamic and fast moving field of chemistry research. It will bring together all leading chemist from the world to exchange and present the latest important developments in organometallic Chemistry. During 6-day sessions of the Conference, the Program will feature the Plenary Lectures, Invited Lectures/Communications, Oral and Poster presentations. They include all modern advances and new trends in organometallic Chemistry:
1. Organometallic chemistry with transition metals, lanthanides, main group
elements.
2. Organometallic catalysis: new synthetic methods, enantioselective catalysis,
C-H bond activation and functionalization, alkene metathesis, cascade
reactions.
3. Polymerisation and polymers.
4. Metal- and heteroatom-based molecular organometallics for materials.
5. Catalysis and organometallics for green chemistry and energy.
6. Bioinorganics, bioorganometallics in biology and medicine.
7. Theoretical and physical methods, bonding and reaction mechanisms in
organometallic chemistry.
8. Self assembly and supramolecular chemistry involving organometallic
skeletons.
